Dashawn is a sweet child. Curious and happy, he loves to look around and be engaged. He recently discovered mirrors and likes looking at himself. Dashawn also enjoys being held and talked to, and smiling. He has special medical needs and is currently on g-button feedings, an apnea monitor and uses oxygen when he sleeps. When Dashawn is anxious, he appreciates a loving touch on his arms or face, to help him calm down. He is currently learning how to sit up and his therapist is working on oral feedings with him. Dashawn needs a warm, caring family with experience dealing with children who have extreme developmental delays and medical needs. He is very affectionate and needs a family who will love him for the special child he is.
