Emmitt will need a lot of convincing if you want him to stay indoors; this active, energetic child loves to play outside! Whether he’s chasing bubbles, playing sports, or helping weed a garden, Emmitt is always happy to be outdoors, enjoying the fresh air. He is particularly eager to visit new places and learn new things. When Emmitt does settle down inside the house, he enjoys playing with magnets and solving simple puzzles. His workers says he is a warm, friendly child. Emmitt is also helpful around the house and respectful towards adults. He needs a family who will show patience as he transitions into a new home. Emmitt would do best in a family who can introduce him to as many positive experiences as possible, and teach him to express his thoughts and feelings regarding those experiences. He has been diagnosed with Autism and will need a family who understands and knows how to meet his educational and emotional needs.
