Amber is initially shy around new people. She becomes more social and responsive once a level of trust has been established. It is then one can see she is a loving, caring youth who will benefit from a nurturing environment in which to heal from early experiences. Amber enjoys arts and crafts projects. She also enjoys playing board or card games in small groups. In full time special education classes, Amber will benefit from continued tutoring. A loving, understanding and nurturing family is needed for Amber. It is also important for her to remain in contact with a sibling placed separately.
