Summer vacation is in full swing, and that means baseball. And in Rochester, the Red Wings will be highlighting the non-profit Children Awaiting Parents/Donald J. Corbett Adoption Agency (CAP) at its Tuesday, August 31 game vs the Worcester Red Sox.
In addition to being CAP night, it is also Two-for-One-Tuesday.
“We are so appreciative of the Rochester Red Wings for the opportunity to spread the word about our important work to help find forever families for children waiting the longer in foster care,” said CAP Executive Director Lauri McKnight. “Baseball is such a family-friendly event. So it’s the perfect venue to increase awareness of the need for foster and adoptive families, and perhaps even find a potential adoptive family!”
The game begins at 7:05 pm at Frontier Field. Tickets can be purchased at the game or online at the link below.
