Examining The Process Of Adoption From Foster Care
Part 2 Of 2
Erin Cabral and her husband Andres adopted a child from foster care in 2019. Now they are in the process to adopt again. She was happy to give us insight about the winding road to adoption from a parent’s point of view.
CAP has helped bring together more than 6,000 children and families over the last 45 years.

We believe that every child is adoptable & deserves a loving permanent family.
Children Awaiting Parents, Inc. is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to finding adoptive families for those children in foster care who wait the longest. Children Awaiting Parents works on behalf of these children, typically teenagers, and sibling groups who wish to stay together and/or those children with special needs.
Since its founding in 1972, CAP has helped bring together more than 6,000 children and families.
