Planned Giving: A Compassionate Legacy

The Forever Family Fund

Please consider making a lasting effect on generations to come: Include Children Awaiting Parent (CAP)’s waiting youth in your estate planning. Legacy giving is a responsible way to be sure your wishes are respected and the cause important to you is honored. It’s never too early to plan for the security of the people you care about.

Your charitable bequest will benefit the forgotten youth of the foster care system by supporting our mission to unite them with forever, adoptive families.

Your meaningful planned gift will help CAP grow and continue to recruit permanent homes for children in foster care who have waited the longest for a family. What better gift to give a child than the security of a forever family, that has the power to change not only their life, but the lives of their children and their children’s children.

How to make a Bequest:
The first step in planned giving is speaking with your lawyer or CAP’s financial representative. They can help you design a will to provide for your loved ones and support CAP’s mission. There are many options available; some include leaving a specific dollar amount, a percentage or the residue of an estate. Leaving appreciated assets of a stock or estate can benefit our cause and also result in significant tax savings. When you decide to include Children Awaiting Parents in your estate planning, please consider sharing that information with us. We would be pleased to have the opportunity to honor your commitment now and include you in our Forever Family Fund.
