How to make a Bequest:
The first step in planned giving is speaking with your lawyer or CAP’s financial representative. They can help you design a will to provide for your loved ones and support CAP’s mission. There are many options available; some include leaving a specific dollar amount, a percentage or the residue of an estate. Leaving appreciated assets of a stock or estate can benefit our cause and also result in significant tax savings. When you decide to include Children Awaiting Parents in your estate planning, please consider sharing that information with us.
