November is National Adoption Month. Children Awaiting Parents, Inc. is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to finding adoptive families for those children in foster care who wait the longest. Children Awaiting Parents works on behalf of these children, typically teenagers, and sibling groups who wish to stay together and/or those children with special needs.
On this broadcast we welcome Lauri McKnight, Veronica Black and Toni Marrocco-Helwig from Children Awaiting Parents, as well as Commissioner of Seneca County DHS Tracy Van Vleck, Former Monroe County Family Court Judge Patricia Gallaher, Pre-Adoptive Parent Michael Brown and Legendary Music Producer Grand Tone.
