Gina Domingo and the Kendaia Kingz motorcycle group host a family event to raise money and awareness for CAP’s work to find forever families for children waiting the longest in foster care. She says, "“The Kendaia Kingz and I want everyone to know about the 125,000 kids in foster care waiting for a forever family, and to be part of the ‘bigger picture.’ We want potential families and donors to know about CAP’s important work, and we want waiting kids to know that we have their backs.”
“CAP is so incredibly grateful to Gina for organizing this event,” said Executive Director Lauri McKnight. “The more community interest and resources we have, the more loving, adoptive families we can recruit for waiting children and youth.”
The Family FUNdraiser & Rally will include family activities, games, music, food, raffles, speakers, a pie-eating contest, dunk tank, and motorcycle show.
The event will run from 4:00 to 7:00 on Saturday, June 26. All proceeds go directly to Children Awaiting Parents.
The motorcycle show is open to all riders, with a top prize of $300. Interested riders can pre-register at the Harley-Davidson store or by email to ginadomingo447@gmail.com. Potential event sponsors also can contact Gina via email.
